Viator VIP: EmptyMet Tour
Available on select Saturdays and Mondays, the 1.5-hour Viator VIP EmptyMet tour offers a rare chance to explore NYC’s most visited museum and attraction without the crowds. This guided tour of maximum 25 people takes place before the Met opens its doors to the general public and allows you to get up close to Met highlights such as Canova’s ‘Perseus with the Head of Medusa’ and Vincent van Gogh’s ‘Wheat Field with Cypresses’ without the usual crowds. Your guide, an employee of the museum, will give you specialist insight into the depth and breadth of the Met's impressive collection and you will have chance to snap photos of your favorite works throughout the tour. Upon conclusion of your once-in-a-lifetime tour, you are free to explore the Met on your own as your ticket also includes same day admission not only to the Met, but also the Met Breuer and the Met Cloisters.
