Viator VIP: EmptyMet Tour
Available on select Saturdays and Mondays, the 1.5-hour Viator VIP EmptyMet tour offers a rare chance to explore NYC’s most visited museum and attraction without the crowds. Your guide, an employee of the museum, will give you specialist insight into the depth and breadth of the Met's impressive collection and you will have chance to snap photos of your favorite works throughout the tour. Upon conclusion of your once-in-a-lifetime tour, you are free to explore the Met on your own as your ticket also includes same day admission not only to the Met, but also the Met Breuer and the Met Cloisters.

One of the best museums I've been to. Compares to the British Museum, the Cairo Museum and the museums in the capital. Can be very crowded but on the Sunday it was really reasonable. Skip the line access is the way to go.
